LIKE AIRBNB, ONLY MUCH BETTER

The best of both worlds: comfortable as apartments and convenient as a hotel. With the added bonus of experiencing the real Rome away from tourists.

A TRULY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

You’ll stay in spacious rooms that are elegant, practical and clean. Just like your own home. And we got rid of our reception to make space for a Wine Bar!

FINE DINING @ACCASADI

We love our food and we love foodies, which is why 10 years ago we decided to open our own restaurant, which has become a big hit with the locals too.

We are a safe distance from the swarms of tourists and the traps that have been set for them.

We’re a ‘decentralised’ boutique hotel in Rome – located a snappy 15 minute metro ride away from Rome’s historic center.

We want our guests to live and breathe authenticity…. as we spoil them. So that they go back home with one more truly memorable experience.

How can we help?

Have a look at our FAQs on the right and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

We are 6km from the historic center. Getting there is simple — The subway stop Numidio Quadrato is at 2 minute walk from the hotel. The ride to the center is direct with no line change and it takes 15 minutes to reach the city center.

At the airport hop on to the Leonardo Express train to Termini then change to subway and get the Metro/subway and get off at Numidio Quadrato (Line A) it is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. We can also organize private transportation for 45 euro for up to 3 people. Get in touch for a quote if your group is larger than that.

Yes! There is always a form of public transportation to the City Guest House. After subway closes there is a night bus (N1) that does the same route of the subway but on the road. Subway time table: Sunday-Thursday 5:30 am to 23:30 Friday – Saturday 5:30-1:30am N1(night bus) 23:30-5:00am

Absolutely! Your surrounded by shops, offices, schools and people going about their business. You won’t find many tourists here and those how try to scam them. The price you pay for a coffee is the same as the one a local would pay.

Via Tuscolana, where the Metro stop is, is a full of shops and places to eat. There are a couple of big parks nearby too. for example, Parco dei Aquedotti and Parco di Torre Fiscale.

Yes both in-house and there is a laundry service 500 meters away from hotel.

Yes. Rooms with pets have an extra rate, simply because we need to clean them better. Get in touch for more information.

Yes. We have a digital key locker that allows you to self check in.

The hotel with hidden secrets... in a good way!
We chose Convivial House to stay in and we honestly couldn't have been more happier with choosing to stay with them.

An excellent option, away from the tourist traps.
The place does have more of a guest-house feel than a hotel feel and you can tell that the owners have put their heart into it.

Worth every penny
Convivial House is set more in the urban Rome. Not many foreigners round here either. The staff were brilliant, very helpful, recommending local bars and restaurants. They also spoke very good English!
