Rome is such a touristic city but if you know your way you can always make it an authentic experience. Here are a few advices for the area
In a city where tradition often gives way to trends, Da Augusto stands as one of the few truly authentic trattorias left in Rome. Tucked away in the heart of Trastevere at Piazza de’ Renzi, this no-frills gem has been serving honest Roman food for generations — and you can feel it from the moment you sit down at one of their simple, paper-covered tables.
Run by the third generation of the same family, Da Augusto isn’t about fancy plating or reinvented recipes. It’s about preserving the essence of Roman cuisine

We hope you’ve enjoyed your stay! Just a small note before you go: while we have a professional cleaning team that takes care of the apartment after each guest, we kindly ask that you leave the space in good condition.
There’s no need for a deep clean, of course — simply tidying up a bit, throwing away any trash, and leaving things reasonably as you found them makes a big difference.
It helps us ensure that the next guests can enjoy the same warm welcome you received. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
We opened Accasadi in 2007 the best you can eat in Tuscolano area – a locals only area.
Far from the tourist crowds, Tuscolana is where real Rome pulses with life. A lively mix of vintage shops, buzzing cafés, and honest Roman trattorias, it’s a neighborhood that feels lived-in and loved. Gritty, vibrant, and deeply authentic, Tuscolana offers a raw slice of the Eternal City — no filters, just flavor
